Episode 14 – PRO SKATEBOARD (semis and finals)
Maryhill Loops Road is often referred to as the easiest hill to ride, but the hardest to win. That means that winning the competition at Maryhill Windwalk would only be possible through flawless execution and hitting every apex perfectly. As exemplified by the butt-sniffing proximity every race heat, it would be no easy feat for any rider to overcome the competition.
The competition was stacked:
Two-time Maryhill race winner and current track record holder, Zak Maytum was ready to three-peat. His fight to defend his reign presented adversaries like the former world champion and veteran racer from Brazil, Douglas Dalua. Top speed on a downhill skateboard World Record holder, Kyle Wester would join the race, hoping to edge out the competition. Underrated greats like Brennan Bast would push through the field, determined as anyone who has crossed oceans to claim the title of King of the Hill. And lastly, hometown heroes would attempt to ascend to the top through sheer force of will like the California Condor, Max Capps.Every heat showed us the best racing that the world has to offer. Some crashed and burned, while others grasped at the glory that it is to be the Champion Windwalker and king of the hardest hill to win, IN THE WORLD.
